Has anyone used this on a porch? I’m wondering if the web is actually large enough to make an impact.

Mine covers a big section of the front porch. The 17.4 ft web and 455 LEDs are definitely noticeable after dark.

The remote is much more useful than I expected. I can change the lighting mode and brightness without going outside.

Does it need to be near an outlet? I want to put mine along a fence where there is no convenient power source.

It is plug-in powered, so I placed it near an outlet. That made it easy for me to choose the best display spot.

The oversized spider really completes the setup. The web is bright on its own, but the spider gives it that creepy Halloween focal point.
