Let me tell you about a $120 mistake I made on a Tuesday afternoon that I will never, ever forget.

I was in my garage, breaking down a full 4x8 sheet of maple plywood for a built-in cabinet I’d been planning for three months. Nice wood. Not cheap. I’d measured twice, drew my line carefully with a straightedge, and clamped a 2x4 along the edge to guide my circular saw.

After that conversation with Dave, I went down the research rabbit hole.
