I mainly bought this for straining cooking oil after frying. The filter catches the small bits well, and the funnel keeps the oil going into the bottle instead of down the side. It feels sturdier than the plastic funnel I was using before and rinses clean quickly.

Works exactly how I hoped. I use it for transferring oil and sauces into smaller bottles, and the removable filter is handy when I need it.

I like that the strainer lifts out when I only need the funnel. The edges feel smooth, the handle makes it easier to hold, and cleanup takes almost no time. I have used it several times already for cooking oil and homemade juice.
